Developed by the University Gateway Corporation and located at the west entrance of the McNamara Alumni Center is Regents Plaza. This campus enhancement recognizes members of the Board of Regents, the governing body of the University of Minnesota. It also serves as a pedestrian link between Gateway Plaza and the Scholars Walk. Regents plaza features a striking blend of granite monuments, massive stone benches, landscaping, and recognition monuments for recipients of the Regents award, which recognizes those who have helped build the University through exemplary volunteer service or philanthropy.
